What is your role at iHeart?

National Technical Producer for The Breakfast Club.

02

What is your most listened-to song of this month? Why?

It would probably be “Whisper My Name” by Drake, coming off his new album. I like his energy on the song.

03

Can you share your most memorable iHeart moment?

My most memorable moment would probably be the time DJ Prostyle asked me to DJ on air for the first time on Power 105.1, or when former UFC champion Sean O’Malley came to The Breakfast Club and let me hold his UFC title.

04

What is the best part about working at iHeart?

I would say the best part about working at iHeart is the fun environment. There aren’t too many jobs you would consider fun at 6 a.m. It’s also cool working alongside DJ Envy and Charlamagne every day. Those are guys I looked up to when I wanted to start a career in radio, and now I’m working side by side with them every morning.

05

If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Although I’ve met a lot of people while working with The Breakfast Club, the one person I wish I could have met was Kobe Bryant. He has been my role model since I was a kid, and since he is no longer here, he is the one person I wish I’d had the chance to meet.

06

If you could give your 13-year-old self advice, what would it be?

Just keep dreaming and doing what you’re doing. A lot of the goals I set for myself didn’t seem possible coming from where I grew up, but they came true. I got to DJ on the radio for thousands of people, and I’m working on one of the biggest radio shows in the country.

07

If you were to host a podcast series about your life, what would you title it?

I would call it the “Get Redde Podcast Show” and reflect on various moments in my life that got me where I am today.

08

What is your motto or personal mantra?

Look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself: Did you get better today? Did you get one percent better today? If the answer is no, then you’ve got to work harder tomorrow. It was something I heard my idol, Kobe Bryant, say, and I try to live by that mantra each day. It helps me separate the good days from the bad days and keeps me focused.

09

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

It would probably be to play the piano very well. I think people who can play any song on the piano are really talented and can make anyone in the room a fan just by catching their ear. I’m also a huge fan of mixed martial arts, so I would love to learn jiu-jitsu and practice the sport. It’s a great skill to have.

10

A fun fact about myself is…

I love being a dad. It’s my favorite title. My son, CJ, has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. He inspires me to do better every day, and he’s only four years old. He doesn’t even know the impact he has had on my life. I see myself in him every day, and raising him to be a great human being is such a great honor that I will forever cherish. I love being his role model, and I will always be by his side.
